On World Diabetes Day, a screening camp was arranged by the students of Department of Diet and Nutritional Sciences. This event aimed to raise awareness about diabetes and provide valuable health assessments to students and faculty from all departments.
Clinical evaluations were performed to examine signs and symptoms related to diabetes, and a detailed dietary history was taken from each participant to understand their eating habits and nutritional intake. Based on the collected data, personalized dietary guidelines were provided to those identified as pre-diabetic or diabetic, helping them manage their condition and prevent further health complication.
The screening camp was a significant initiative to promote early detection and effective management of diabetes within the university community, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition in preventing and controlling diabetes.
