Joint Malnutrition Awareness Campaign of SIGNS International and American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) at the IBADAT International University, Islamabad (IIUI) was conducted in a one day seminar.
Dr. Atta ur Rehman, a renowned expert in the field of nutrition and public health, served as the keynote speaker. He provided an in-depth analysis of malnutrition, discussing its various forms, including undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and overnutrition. Dr. Rehman highlighted the latest research findings and global statistics, illustrating the prevalence of malnutrition and the urgent need for comprehensive intervention strategies. He discussed the role of education, public policy, and community involvement in addressing malnutrition, stressing the importance of a multi-sectoral approach.
